A. BRAKE KING offers you the opportunity to operate a business that provides a wide variety of auto repair and maintenance services under one roof. With service technicians who are well trained, knowledgeable, and exhibit a demonstrated commitment to providing services, Brake King exceeds the expectations of customers and is first class in the auto service industry.

Q. How much does the franchise cost?
A. The estimated initial investment to establish a BRAKE KING franchise ranges from $121,750 to $277,533. This includes the initial franchise fee of $50,000.

Q. How much is the fee for continuing support services?
A. The continuing services, or “royalty fee,” is paid weekly at 5% of gross sales. This fee entitles you to use the BRAKE KING trademark, use of our distinctive system, marketing assistance, ongoing business development and counseling, and other benefits that come with being a BRAKE KING partner.

Q. Will I have an exclusive territory?
A. BRAKE KING does not grant an exclusive territory. We will grant you a territory (called an “Area of Primary Responsibility” or “Area”) defined by zip codes or other physical, political or natural boundaries.

Q. What about advertising?
A. We will help you develop a grand-opening advertising budget for the first three months of operations. Thereafter, franchisee will also spend up to 5% of the previous month’s gross sales on local advertising. In addition, each franchisee will contribute up to 2% of your weekly gross sales in a Marketing Fund.

Q. How much training is provided in a BRAKE KING franchise system?
A. The initial training covers all material aspects of the operation of a BRAKE KING franchise presented in both classroom and as on-the-job training.

Q. What is the term of a BRAKE KING Franchise Agreement?
A. The initial term of the Franchise Agreement is five years. The franchise is renewable for three additional terms of five years each, providing you have complied with the provisions of the Franchise Agreement.
